The Cloudland Park development had grand pans for a resort on the mountain in the 1920s. People came from all over the south. Two hotels were built. The depression ended all the grand plans.

August 26, 2021Closing program from the Holland Trainind school. There is a long tradition of education in that area started by the African American churches. Professor Reuben Nichols was an educator there from the 1880’s till his death in 1938.
